City of Port Lincoln

Draft Animal Management Plan 2017/2021

The City of Port Lincoln is developing a new Management Plan for dogs and cats and invite you to make comment to help guide the direction of the plan.

As part of Council's first round of public consultation, we are seeking your comments, feedback and ideas regarding the management of dogs and cats in the Council area.

A survey has been prepared for residents and businesses within the boundaries of Port Lincoln, but you don't have to own a dog or cat to participate in the survey.  Please complete the survey and let us know what is important to you about dogs and cats.

The feedback provided through the survey or written submission will enable the preparation of the Dog and Cat Management Plan, setting the direction for management of dogs and cats in the city for the next five years.

Have your say by completing the on-line survey; or hardcopy survey available at the Council Office, Level One, Civic Centre, 60 Tasman Terrace, Port Lincoln Library, 2 London Street and Nautilus Arts Centre, 66 Tasman Terrace, Port Lincoln or make a written submission to Council via post or email to

All submissions are to be received by Council by 5pm Friday 16 June 2017

Any questions regarding the Animal Management Plan can be directed to the Executive Director Development & Environment, Rosa Gagetti on 8621 2300 or email
