2018 Port Lincoln Art Prize

The Port Lincoln Art Prize exhibition is an annual event open to all Australian residents.  The Port Lincoln Art Prize provides a prestigious competition for the many artists who enter and the opportunity to have their efforts publicly acknowledged with the chance to win cash prizes. 

The annual Port Lincoln Art Prize is celebrating its 10th year and has grown and developed into a significant award and exhibition for the region attracting artwork from Australia wide.

A new category has been introduced for 2018, the West Coast Youth and Community Support and Rotary Port Lincoln Youth Award.  The Award encourages young artists aged under 18 years, to submit artwork to be exhibited and for a chance to win $500. 

The 2018 entries will be exhibited at the Nautilus Arts Centre from Thursday 11 January to Saturday 17 February 2018.

Entries are invited from local, South Australian and interstate artists, working in any 2D and 3D mediums other than photography. 

 Prizes include:

  • Highly Commended
  • Local Artist Award (EP entries only)
  • Youth Award
  • Highly Commended Youth Award
  • People's Choice

The Winners were announced at a reception held in the Nautilus Arts Centre on Thursday 11th January 2018.
