City of Port Lincoln is required under Section 122 of the Local Government Act, 1999 to undertake a review of its Infrastructure and Asset Management Plan, relating to the management and development of infrastructure and major assets by Council for a period of at least 10 years.
The Council owns and manages a significant number of community assets including roads, stormwater infrastructure, community buildings and recreational facilities. Council aims to provide quality public infrastructure and amentities that are safe, functional and meets the needs of the community, ratepayers, visitors and Council staff.
Council invited the community to complete an online survey to help Council understand what the community expectations are in relation to the condition of Council assets, in particular what does 'good enough' look like to them. A hardcopy of the survey was also made available at the Council Office, Level One, Civic Centre, 60 Tasman Terrace, Port Lincoln and Port Lincoln Library, 2 London Street, Port Lincoln.
Submissions closed 9am Monday 30 January 2017.
All submissions that provided contact details were placed in a prize draw with three lucky winners receiving a gift voucher valued at $100 to spend at the Nautilus Arts Centre.
