Parks & Gardens Trainee
Certificate III in Horticulture 

The City of Port Lincoln is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic person who has a genuine interest in horticulture to assist with the maintenance and development of Ovals, Parks and Gardens, Reserves and other Council properties.

The position is for an initial 12 month contract with the potential to extend until the completion of the appropriate training. Applicants must meet all the Trainee Eligibility Criteria as outlined in the Application Form, Part A.

The traineeship is partially funded by the Minister for Regional Development through the Regional Youth Traineeship Program which aims to increase regional youth workforce participation. 

Applicants must:

  • Be between the ages of 17 and 24
  • A resident of Regional South Australia
  • Not hold a qualification higher than a Certificate III
