Tree Trimming and Removal Requests

The City of Port Lincoln is responsible for maintenance of vegetation on Council property which includes roadside verges.

Unauthorised removal of trees under the care and control of Council by the public is not permitted.

Residents wishing for approval to plant trees/shrubs on Council land must inform the Parks and Gardens Supervisor/Council of their intention, what species they intend to plant and the location.

For further information regarding Council's policy on Tree Management please contact Council on 8621 2323.

If residents wish to have a street tree trimmed or removed a request form needs to completed stating the reason/s for the request. The Parks and Gardens Supervisor will initially assess and make recommendations regarding the action to be taken.
