Ravendale Oval Irrigation System Replacement

The irrigation system at the Ravendale Sporting Complex is being replaced as part of Council's capital works renewal program.  The works have begun with the project expected to take 10-12 weeks, scheduled for completion early December 2017.

Gerard Hemming & Groundwork Landscaping have been appointed the contract to replace the 1980's vintage hydraulic system with a modern electronic system.  A new cloud based control system will also be installed to improve the control and efficiency of the irrigation programming at the Ravendale Sporting Complex.

The complex will remain open for public use during the construction period with some restrictions to the use of the ovals and hockey field.  Adequate parking will be made available during sporting matches.

Any questions on the project are to be directed to Council's Technical Projects Officer, Sebastian Carr on 8621 2308 or email plcc@plcc.sa.gov.au with the subject heading " Ravendale Oval Irrigation System Replacement Project".
