The City of Port Lincoln is responsible for managing the local government area, planning for the future and creating a safe and healthy environment.
The City of Port Lincoln seeks to be a responsive, innovative and efficient Council that exercises leadership and builds community strength. In doing, so Council is looking to fulfil its vision for Port Lincoln to be a progressive, vibrant and safe regional city in keeping with the City of Port Lincoln's Strategic Direction's Plan.
The City of Port Lincoln does this by providing a range of services, facilities and programs which protect the well-being of people within their community, whilst ensuring equitable access by all residents, ratepayers and visitors.
Ratepayers and members of the community use services provided by Council in the course of their daily activities. Some of the main services include local roads and drainage, waste and recycling management, library and information services, as well as recreation, sporting and cultural activities.
The City of Port Lincoln has established the following six service areas to enable the efficient and effective delivery of services within the City.
