Tenders
Council utilises a number of procurement methods to acquire goods and services. The procurement approach will vary depending on the scope, objectives, size of the market, time constraints, risks associated with the activity or project and the value of the goods and services.
Council will ensure that it is fair and equitable to all parties involved as well as achieving the best possible outcome for Council and its community when considering its procurement methods.
It is recommended that you read Council's Procurement Policy 7.63.15 [PDF] which guides Council's approach to procurement.
Depending on the tender type, Council will advertise tenders locally or on the SA Tenders and Contracts website.

Applications are invited for Port Lincoln Town Jetty Salvaged Timber
12 February - Extended to 26 March 2024, 5pm
The City of Port Lincoln invites applications from community groups and individuals and/or businesses who would like to utilise/repurpose the salvaged timber from the recently refurbished Port Lincoln Town Jetty.
The timber varies in quality and can be inspected at the Port Lincoln Council Depot, 33 Bel Air Drive:
- Friday 23 February 2024, 9am to 3pm
- Saturday 24 February 2024 , 10am to 3pm
- Thursday 29 February 2024, 11.30am to 12.30pm
Additional Inspection:
- Tuesday 19 March 2024, 10am to 12pm
