Australia’s biggest festival of secondhand stuff is throwing a 'last hurrah' double weekend event and the City of Port Lincoln is invites local residents to make it the biggest hunt yet.
Over two big weekends on 7–8 and 14–15 November 2026, households, schools, community groups and local businesses across Port Lincoln will join thousands of Australians in the national Garage Sale Trail - an opportunity to make some extra cash, find a bargain, meet like-minded people, and reduce waste.
Since it launched in 2010, Garage Sale Trail has grown into a massive national movement boasting 134,000 garage sales, 4 million cumulative participants and over 7.2 million items saved from landfill. Along the way, the program has generated $52 million for local households and community groups, while sparking more than 2 million new neighbourly connections.
