There are several ways you can lodge a development application.
How to lodge an application online
Create an account
The new planning system facilitates online lodgement for development applications.
To use the PlanSA Portal, you will need to first register for an online account create an online account here.
Already have an account
If you already have an account, you can lodge your development application online here.
By completing a digital form, applications can be lodged into the PlanSA Portal in approximately 10 minutes.
For applications lodged online, there is no need to print and complete any statutory forms, as these are incorporated into the online system.
Lodging an application with Council
Development applications can be emailed to Council at development@plcc.sa.gov.au or you can provide a hard copy of the plans either by post or by physically delivering them to the Council office.
Lodging your application via hardcopy or digital format with Council will incur an additional $80 processing fee.
Make sure to include a copy of all completed and signed statutory forms, together with the required plans and documentation.
Independent accredited professional
You may wish to engage an independent accredited professional to lodge an application on your behalf.
