Mobile Food Vendors

Port Lincoln is a destination recognised for quality tourism and visitor experiences and acknowledges the value of mobile food businesses and what they can bring to the community.

A mobile food vending business (a business involving the sale of food or beverages from a vehicle (within the meaning of the Road Traffic Act 1961)) must apply to Council for a permit under Section 222 of the Local Government Act 1999, to operate on a public road (as defined in the legislation) within the City of Port Lincoln boundary.

A mobile food vending business can apply to Council for a permit at any time during the year with the option of a one month or twelve month permit.
