Council and Committee Meetings
Council has established a number of Committees, Boards and Advisory Bodies, which comprise Council Members, Staff, Government Officers and members of the public, to act in a range of statutory, delegated and advisory roles.
The composition, structure, delegated authority and Terms of Reference of these groups are reviewed in November each year and adopted by Council for the following twelve month term.
The minutes of Section 41 Committee meetings are reported to the next available Ordinary Council meeting for receipt and consideration of any recommendations by Council.
Note: Section 41 Committee means: A committee may, according to a determination of the council (and subject to the operation of the Local Government Act 1999), be established to assist council in the performance of its functions.
