My Local Services App Home Screen

The My Local Services App is a handy app to have on your mobile phone and is available to download for free from the App Store and Google Play.

The App can be set to your local Council area and residential address to receive information about local services and events.  The App includes a Report It function that helps you to log a works request at the time you see it.  It is quick and simple to use. Your report will be sent to Council where it will be assessed and prioritised for action.  The more information you provide in your report the easier it will be for Council staff to follow up your report.

You can also choose to receive 'push notifications' to let you know when you need to put your kerbside waste and recycling bin out, so you will never place your recycling bin out on the wrong week again.

***Please note that the 'Report It' function should not be used to report matters that need urgent attention or in an emergency.  If you need to report an urgent matter to Council, please phone Council on 8621 2300 at any time***

Find local services and facilities near you such as your local Library, pool, parks and playgrounds and other points of interest.

Highlights Council news, services and events and is linked to Council's website providing more information.

Find events that are happening near you and in other Council areas.

Find out when you need to put your kerbside waste and recycling bin out.

Set up and receive a weekly notification reminding you to put your bin out the night before.

Report local maintenance issues, damage to public infrastructure, such as public toilets, a pot hole in the road, footpath repair or tree trimming, graffiti or vandalism when you see it.  Confirm location, upload photo, enter details and submit.

Provide as much detail as you can about the works request you are reporting to enable Council staff to follow up.

From the Home screen of your mobile device, tap App Store

Tap Search at the bottom of screen

Search the App Store - enter in My Local

Select: my local services

Tap GET next to My Local Services to INSTALL app

If prompted, sign in to the App Store to complete the install

Android Phone

From the Home screen of your mobile device, tap the Google Play Store

On your device, go to the Apps section

Search Google Play Store - enter in My Local

Select: my local services app

Tap INSTALL next to My Local Services

Sign in to your Google account to complete the install
