Port Lincoln Library

The Port Lincoln Library is a welcoming place for everyone in our community to come and learn, participate and create.  It also provides a place of wellbeing, inspiration and support to those who use the facility.

The Library is a Council managed facility, with support from Public Library Services and Public Libraries of SA and is an integral part of libraries of South Australia One Card Network and the broader national network.

Port Lincoln Library Business Plan

City of Port Lincoln adopted a Port Lincoln Library Business Plan on 17 September 2018 to ensure the Library service and facilities continue to meet the future needs of the community.  The Business Plan can be viewed by clicking the following link - Port Lincoln Library Business Plan 2019-2024.

Facilities & Spaces

The main library space holds the library's collections and is regularly utilised for Library events, book launches, community events and awareness raising displays.

History Room

The History rooms provide access to bound editions of the Port Lincoln Times, a computer with some Port Lincoln Times on digital file, microfilm of the West Coast Recorder and Port Lincoln Times.

A local history collection maintains resources relevant to Port Lincoln and the local Southern Eyre region.

Community Room

Highly sought after meeting rooms for community groups and events.

Other Spaces

The Children's Library provides well utilised space for informal use and story time sessions.

Port Lincoln Library Home Delivery Service

If you are unable to visit the Library in person, you may be eligible for the Library's home delivery service.  Deliveries are made on a monthly basis.  Short term deliveries are also available.
