The Port Lincoln Library offers a great range of services and is a place for members of the community and visitors to the region to come and read, laugh, enjoy, learn, relax and share in a safe and friendly environment.

For your convenience, an all-hours returns bin is available at the London Street entry.

Membership

As part of the One Card library network, the Port Lincoln Library membership offers access to more than 130 public libraries across South Australia and gives you access to over 4 million items.

The added benefit is that Library items can also be returned at any South Australian Public Library.

Register online for a library card or contact the Library to register as a member.  Photo ID and current address details required.

You will be required to enter in your name and contact details and a pin to create your digital membership account with the South Australian Public Libraries.

It is important that you protect the security of your card and pin (password) as you are responsible for all items while on loan to you.

If you lose your Library card or your card gets stolen please notify the Library staff immediately either in person or by phoning 8621 2345.

A replacement card will be issued for a small fee.

Please don’t hesitate to ask the friendly staff at the Library if there is anything that you need assistance with or are having trouble finding as our staff are more than happy to help.

The Library has a number of computers that are available to the public to book for a maximum of 2 hours per day per person.  The Library staff are happy to assist you if you need any help when using a computer.

Bookings can be made directly with the Library staff or by phoning the Library on 8621 2345 or via the Web Portal print.libraries.sa.gov.au

Free wireless services are available to members and visitors.

Print virtually any document or web page from your internet connected device to one of our Library printers.

There is no additional software required.  Simply click on the 'Web Print' button and follow the steps.

Printing requests can also be emailed to webprint@libraries.sa.gov.au

- If the email has an attachment(s), the attachment(s) will be printed.
- If the email is just the email body then only the email will be printed.

If you require any assistance, contact the Library on 8621 2345 and a staff member will be able to assist you.

Government agencies, charitable (not-for-profit) organisations, schools and community groups are welcome to use the Community Display area of the Port Lincoln Library for the purposes of raising awareness within the community.

A permit for use of the display area is required and can be obtained by completing and returning the Community Displays Permit Form 2-9-T6 [PDF] to the Port Lincoln Library with a copy of your public risk policy by:

A free home delivery service is available for patrons who are unable to access the Library independently.
