Bendigo Community Bank named as 2026 Tunarama Festival Naming Rights Sponsor
The City of Port Lincoln is delighted to announce that Bendigo Community Bank Port Lincoln will be the Naming Rights Sponsor for the 2026 Tunarama Festival, marking a major milestone in the revival of South Australia's longest-running regional community event.
The Festival is set to return to the Port Lincoln foreshore on 16–18 January 2026 after a two-year hiatus, with a renewed focus on community celebration, regional culture, seafood, and tourism. The support of Bendigo Community Bank provides a strong foundation for the revitalised event.
Bendigo Community Bank Port Lincoln Chair, Rob Donaldson said, “We are very pleased to support Tunarama in 2026 through our Naming Rights Sponsorship of this iconic community and visitor event. We operate to invest our profit-share in the local community, and empowering Tunarama is a perfect opportunity to support great community outcomes.”
“Bendigo Community Bank Port Lincoln has been a supporter of Tunarama over many years and we look forward to the revived event being embraced by the Port Lincoln, wider Eyre Peninsula and South Australian communities.”
Mr Donaldson also acknowledged the leadership provided by the City of Port Lincoln to re-imagine Tunarama under a new management model and the commitment of all sponsors to making the revived event in 2026 a huge success.
Mayor Diana Mislov said, “We are incredibly grateful to Bendigo Community Bank Port Lincoln for their commitment to our region and this much-loved festival. Their support as Naming Rights Sponsor reflects the strong community spirit that drives both the Bank and the Festival. We’re proud to be working with local organisations who are equally passionate about delivering a contemporary and inclusive event that celebrates the best of Port Lincoln and the Eyre Peninsula.”
The 2026 Tunarama Festival will be delivered in partnership with professional event managers, SRO Events, with support from Council, the newly established Tunarama Reference Group, and a growing list of sponsors.
