Save the Date for the 2026 Living and Ageing Well Expo
The City of Port Lincoln is excited to once again host the Living and Ageing Well Expo as part of South Australia's Week of Ageing Well, this year on Thursday 1 October 2026 from 10am to 3pm, at the Nautilus Arts Centre.
Held annually from 1 to 7 October, South Australia's Week of Ageing Well encourages people to live well as they age and coincides with the International Day of Older Persons on 1 October.
The 2026 theme, Building Age-Friendly, Connected Communities, celebrates inclusive communities where people of all ages feel valued, supported and connected. Throughout the week, South Australians are encouraged to:
- Connect with the older people in our lives and communities
- Support a deeper understanding of what ageing well means
- Celebrate positive ageing and inclusion
The Living and Ageing Well Expo will bring together not-for-profit service providers, government agencies and community groups, giving community members the opportunity to connect face-to-face, discover available services and learn more about the programs and supports available across the region.
Mayor Diana Mislov said "The Living and Ageing Well Expo provides a valuable opportunity for attendees to connect with local organisations, learn about the services and supports available in our region, and discover ways to live well, stay connected and plan for the future."
“We are very pleased to once again host this event for our community as part of South Australia's Week of Ageing Well.”
Further details, including participating organisations, will be announced closer to the event.
