Private functions on Council land

Council requires anyone who is wanting to hold a private function, including weddings in a Council park or reserve or on Council land to complete and forward to Council the Special Event Permit Application - Private functions in Council Parks, Land or Reserves Form 16-6-T6 [PDF] with a copy of their public liability insurance Certificate of Currency at least two weeks prior to the scheduled event for approval either by:

Please note: Businesses, Community Groups or other organisations must include with their application a copy of their public liability insurance Certificate of Currency.

Individuals who don't have public liability insurance can be covered by Council through the Local Government Risk Services on payment of a small fee as set out in Council's Fees and Charges Schedule.
