Port Lincoln Art Prize

The Port Lincoln Art Prize exhibition is an annual event open to all Australian residents.  The Port Lincoln Art Prize provides a prestigious competition for the many artists who enter and the opportunity to have their efforts publicly acknowledged with the chance to win cash prizes.

The annual Port Lincoln Art Prize commenced in 2008 and has grown and developed into a significant award and exhibition for the region attracting artwork from Australia wide.

Entries are invited from local, South Australian and interstate artists, working in any 2D and 3D mediums other than photography.

The Prize categories are:

  • $8,500 Major Award - sponsored by Bendigo Community Bank Port Lincoln
  • $3,000 Local Artist Award (EP entries only) - sponsored by Retire Australia
  • $500 Youth Award - sponsored by the Rotary Club of Port Lincoln
  • $500 Jane Hutchinson People's Choice Award - sponsored by the Port Lincoln Art Group
  • $250 Youth Highly Commended Award - sponsored by the Port Lincoln Arts Council
  • $200 Sculpture Award - Prize Package - sponsored by Lincoln Estate Wines and Glen Forest Tourist Park

The winners of the Bendigo Community Bank Port Lincoln Art Prize 2024 were announced at a reception held at the Nautilus Arts Centre on Friday 19 January 2024 at 7pm.

Entries are on exhibition at the Nautilus Arts Centre Galleries from Saturday 20 January to Monday 26 February 2024.
